Charles Bruce Vibbert, '04, who has just become Assistant Professor of
 Philosophy, was born August 24, 1877, at Port Huron, Michigan.

After 
receiving the degree of A.B. from the University of Michigan in 1904, and
 spending a year in graduate study, he became instructor in Philosophy at the
 University in 1905. During the second semester of 1908, and the year
 1908-09, he was absent on leave in Europe, where he studied at the University of Paris.
