Please join us for the opening celebration for our exhibit "The Geography of Colorants: An exhibit based on and inspired by the thesis The Geography of Significant Colorants: Antiquity to the Twentieth Century by Melissa Zagorski and maps from the Stephen S. Clark Library Map Collection." This exhibit explores the use of color in antique maps and the geographical origins of the colorants used to make them. The exhibit runs through May 3rd. We'll also have on display many colorful and vibrant maps from our collection as examples.
The public is welcome, and light refreshments will be served.
