Keep your eyes open. We will let you know when it is ready. In the meantime, if you are trying to give directions to someone, the easiest way is to show them the map on our web page. http://www.lib.umich.edu/dentlib/about/maps/entrance/ EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH For the month of October, the student of the month is Jeffrey Boyer. Jeff is in his 3rd semester of working at the dentistry library. He has proven that he has both a knack for putting in effort above and beyond the call of duty, but is also very pleasant and courteous to patrons and his coworkers. He works many hours during the week, including the dreaded morning hours in addition to evening hours. He has also picked up extra unstaffed hours when needed. Thank you Jeff! ELECTRONIC JOURNALS There are so many electronic journals now, it is overwhelming to attempt listing them individually. Browse the lists of titles available below. Full-text sources (UM only): Electronic Journals & Newspapers List: Topical Listing: Dentistry http://www.lib.umich.edu/ejournals/lists/dentis.html Dentistry Library: Electronic Journals Related to Dentistry http://www.lib.umich.edu/dentlib/resources/ejournals.html Electronic Journals & Newspapers List (ALL e-journals for UM) http://www.lib.umich.edu/ejournals/ Other Sources (Not just UM. For the passwords list, try this: 1. Go to:http://sitemaker.med.umich.edu/taubman.lib/ 2. click on the top link in the left hand column 3. click on: "UM Users: click here to continue" 4. enter your kerberos uniqname and password (NOT your library password, unless they are the same) ENDNOTE HELP FILES Register for a class: Faculty Exploratory Workshops http://www.lib.umich.edu/exploratory/workshops.html ... or figure things out for yourself with the following guides: Downloading from UM-MEDSEARCH (Web) to a Bibliographic Citation Management Package http://medsearch.lib.umich.edu/medsearch/wwwbib.html EndNote Tips Sheet http://www.endnote.com/help/ENtips.htm KNC: Bibliographic Management Guides http://www.knc.lib.umich.edu/bmip/ Using EndNote 4.0 http://medsearch.lib.umich.edu/medsearch/EndNote4.html Using EndNote 3.0 http://medsearch.lib.umich.edu/medsearch/EndNote.html NEW DATABASES American Reference Library: http://www.sourcedocuments.com/ Includes: Dr. Morton's Introduction of Anesthetic Ether.
