Library Facts

The University of Michigan Dentistry Library has one of the most comprehensive dental collections in the world, with close to 70,000 volumes. The Library holds over 700 periodical titles and includes virtually every dental journal published in English, as well as selected foreign language titles.

The collection and services of the Dentistry Library support the teaching, research and clinical services of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and serve as a national and international resource.

The mission of the University of Michigan Dentistry Library is to acquire, protect, preserve, and promote access to the knowledge of dentistry, its practice and study, as fully as possible.
