Examines the research, policy and practice issues of diversity in the field of education in the United States.  In about 700 signed entries, presents research, statistics, case studies and best practices, policies and programs at both the K-12 and secondary levels.  The focus is on the United States but also touches on global diversity issues and entries on other countries.  Issues covered include race, class, gender, religion, language, exceptionality, and the global dimensions of diversity as they relate to education.
