Copyright Office Outreach: Presentations and Events
The Copyright Office staff gives presentations on copyright basics, Creative Commons, open access, data sharing, and scholarly communication. Call us to set up a talk with your group about copyright at the University. Here are a few recent examples.
- October 6, 2011: Melissa Levine, Workshop on Movie Streaming Issues, 1-3 pm, Hatcher Gallery Lab (register at http://www.lib.umich.edu/exploratory).
- September 9, 2011: Teaching and Technology: Copyright, Fair Use, and Creative Commons, (session for preservice and middle and highschool teachers).
- August 10, 2011: Melissa Levine, Fair Use and Copyright Basics, LSA Administrators Steering Group with talk on August 15 for the full group.
- June 9th, 2011: Greg Grossmeier and Bobby Glushko are speaking at the Ann Arbor District Library on an Open Education Panel in conjunction with an exhibit on Benjamin Franklin.
- May 26th, 2011: Greg Grossmeier and Bobby Glushko are speaking at e-Cornucopia at Oakland University.
