diane wakoski

 

 


 

is an award-winning poet who has published more than 40 collections of poems, including a four-book series called The Archaeology of Movies and Books, Emerald Ice: Selected Poems 1962–1987, and The Collected Greed, Parts 1–13. She has also published four books of essays. She received a degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley, where she studied with Thom Gunn, Josephine Miles, and Tom Parkinson. Wakoski lives in East Lansing, Michigan, where she has taught at Michigan State University since 1976.
