is the author of three books of poetry, including Big Enigmas, Thank You Call Again, and little mysteries. He and his late wife Ann founded the Alternative Press in the 1960s. Over the years, the Press has featured the work of leading poets of Detroit’s Cass Corridor artistic community, as well as the Beat and Black Mountain schools. Mikolowski teaches creative writing at the Residential College of the University of Michigan.
