is a leading figure in San Francisco poetry circles. She was a member of some of the groups that formed around senior poets Robert Duncan and Jack Spicer. Her poetry includes The Tapestry and the Web, Phenomenological: A Curriculum of the Soul, and Just Space: Poems 1979–1989. Kyger teaches at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, and at the New College in San Francisco, California.
