The World Development Indicators (WDI) provides a comprehensive selection of economic, social and environmental indicators, drawing on data from the World Bank and more than 30 partner agencies. The database covers more than 900 indicators for 210 economies with data back to 1960. Specific series and countries/groups can be selected for specific year ranges, and data can be exported.
This databases contains complete bibliographic citations of UN documents and publications. Indexes United Nations documents since 1946, including Official Records, sales publications, masthead documents.
You can find official statistics produced by countries and compiled by United Nations data system, as well as estimates and projections. The domains covered are agriculture, education, energy, industry, labour, national accounts, population and tourism. You can also find indicators such as Millennium Development Goals.

Africa Development Indicators contains over 1,600 indicators and time series from 1961 to the present for 53 countries. Data include social, economic, financial, natural resources, infrastructure, governance, partnership, and environmental indicators. The ADI Data Availability Query shows where data is available for a given country, series, and year. It contains the value "1" for available data and ".." for missing data.
Analyzes armed conflicts around the world since 1997, including non-state armed groups and the death toll. Major features: statistics, bar graphs, and pie charts by year and country for fatalities, weapons, refugees, and returnees. Includes summary information on individual non-state groups. Quarterly conflict review.
The BOP database contains time series data from 1948. Balance of Payments Statistics summarize, for a specific period, the economic transactions of an economy with the rest of the world. It reports total goods, services, factor income, and current transfers an economy receives from or provides to the rest of the world as well as capital transfers and changes in each economy's external financial claims and liabilities.
International trade statistics, detailed by commodity and partner country, for over 130 countries. Commodities are classified according to SITC (Rev.1, Rev.2 and Rev.3)

Direction of Trade Statistics provides critical data on the value of merchandise exports and imports between each country and all its trading partners.
