Advance Reservation of Materials


 

U-M faculty and staff can reserve Askwith Media Library materials using the Reservation Request Form below, using Mirlyn's Advance Booking feature, or by calling (764-5360) or emailing the Askwith Media Library. Advance reservations are recommended for classroom showings or other planned events.

Online Advance Reservations in Mirlyn 

U-M faculty and staff can make reservations for  Askwith Media Library material via the "booking" button on Mirlyn.  A notice at the top of the screen will tell you whether or not your reservation was successful.  Reservation periods are limited to our default loan periods.  If you need longer a longer loan please contact the AML.

Patrons may request pick-up at the Askwith Media Library or delivery to the Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library; Music Library; Taubman Medical Library; U-M Flint, or U-M Dearborn. Please make online requests for Askwith Media Library pickup at least one day in advance and requests for delivery to all other locations at least two days in advance. Contact the AML (764-5360) for same-day requests.

Bookings cannot be edited in Mirlyn. You will need to delete the reservation and create a new one.  Bookings can be viewed through Mirlyn> My Account> Booking Requests. Please contact Jeff Pearson (763-3758, jwpearso@umich.edu) if you have questions or encounter problems.
