U-M instructors and staff can reserve AML materials in advance using the Reservation Request Form below, using Mirlyn's Advance Booking feature, or by calling (764-5360) or emailing the Askwith Media Library. Advance reservations are recommended for classroom showings or other planned events.

This form is for University of Michigan faculty, GSI, and staff only. U-M students may phone 764-5360 for an in-house viewing.

U-M faculty and staff can schedule Askwith Media Library material in advance on Mirlyn. Login, search for the item you wish to reserve, click on the "advance booking" button and fill in the "from" and "to" dates. Click the "Go" button to view your request, and "Go" a second time to confirm. A notice at the top of the screen will tell you whether or not your reservation was successful. Reservation periods are limited to our default loan periods. If you need longer a longer loan please contact the AML.
Patrons may request pick-up at the AML or delivery to the Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library; Music Library; Taubman Medical Library; U-M Flint, or U-M Dearborn. Please make online requests for AML pickup at least one day in advance and requests for delivery to all other locations at least two days in advance. It is best to contact the AML (764-5360) for same-day requests.
Please note: an automatic one day "head" and "tail" time is inserted between reservations on an item. Once a reservation is made it cannot be edited. You will need to delete the reservation and make another one. Reserved AML materials are ready for pick-up on the morning of the first show date. Faculty and staff can view their bookings by logging into Mirlyn, clicking on "My Account," and then "Bookings." Students cannot reserve AML materials in advance, but can check out materials on a walk-in basis.
