The University of Michigan Center for Japanese Studies annually awards grants for scholars to travel to the U-M Asia Library. These grants are awarded on a competitive basis and are intended to help defray the cost of travel, lodging, meals, and photo-duplication for scholars of Japan at other institutions who wish to utilize the Asia Library's collection. The competition for the 2010-2011 academic year is closed, but announcements of future grants will be made here.
