MLibrary and the School of Information (SI) are once again sponsoring the iDesign competition, with this year's theme being "Going Mobile." iDesign 2013 challenges students to create an online tool to make library resources or services more mobile, with mobility interpreted broadly. Entries might include responsive designs for library web systems, tools to assist users in finding and discovering both physical and electronic collections, or any other idea that will help users take advantage of the library's wealth of services and resources. The winning team gets up to $2000!
Initial proposals are due by Monday, December 17th, with final entries and presentations due in March of 2013 (final dates to be announced). For more detailed information, please go to: http://www.lib.umich.edu/
This is the third year for the iDesign competition, with earlier competitions having happened in 2009 and 2011.
