MLibrary is pleased to announce the winners of the 2013 iDesign competition!  

Winner of the $2000 overall prize is Team Library in Hand, for their design, Rhea. Team Library in Hand consists of members

Luxi Chen, Ni Yan, Xin Liu, and Lu Liu. Winning the $500 People's Choice award is Team XVIII,

for their design, In-Map. Team XVIII consists of six members:

BingRan Guo, Bin Zhao, Guanyi Fu, Xiaoyu Ji, Yuan Gao, and Yang Liu.

The iDesign 2013 competition challenged U-M students to create a tool to make library resources or services more mobile. Eleven teams entered the competition and presented their designs to the judges at a public presentation on April 8th. All submissions may be viewed at http://www.lib.umich.edu/idesign-competition-2013/submissions
