The National Geographic Virtual Library brings together a complete archive of National Geographic magazine — every page of every issue — along with a cross-searchable collection of National Geographic books, maps, images and videos.
Naxos Music Library has teamed up with Sony Classical to make their entire catalog available via streaming audio. A few hundred titles have already been added, and the remaining thousands of albums will be added continuously as part of their daily updates.
Composition professor Michael Daugherty has a newly released recording of several of his works that is now available for check-out at the Music Library (CDISC 31699).
The University of Michigan Library has made accessible a new digital collection of maps from the Stephen S. Clark Library for Maps, Government Information and Data Services. The collection currently contains 107 digitized maps in the public domain and will be updated frequently.
The U of M Libraries now has a 30-day trial of BrowZine, a tablet application for browsing, reading and monitoring some of the library's journals (about 10,000 titles).
