Therapaws of Michigan will be bringing their therapy dogs to the Shapiro Undergraduate Library to help with finals stress! The dogs will be there Wednesday 12/11 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm, Thursday 12/12 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, and Friday 12/13 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.

The annual U-M Library used book sale will take place in the Hatcher Library Gallery from 10:00am - 10:00pm on Monday, December 9th. Several thousand gently used books will be available at low prices, as well as CDs, DVDs, and maps.
Dogs from Therapaws of Michigan will be visiting the Duderstadt Center Lobby Monday December 9th starting at 1:00pm, and Tuesday December 10th starting at 2:00pm. Come enjoy the dogs and relieve some end-of-term stress! Sponsored by the U-M Library.
The Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library will close early on Wednesday, November 27, at 5:00pm. The AAEL will remain closed all day Thursday and Friday, and will reopen again at 7:00am on Saturday, November 30. The Ask a Librarian service will also have different hours over Thanksgiving break.
The Computer and Video Game Archive (CVGA) is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a party on Saturday, November 16 from 1pm - 5pm at the CVGA space in the Duderstadt Center. Join us for food and a Super Smash Bros. Tournament!
On Wednesday, November 13, the University of Michigan will be hosting a showcase of various traditions and holidays observed by the U-M community. Performances start at 6:30pm in Stamps Auditorium in the Walgreen Drama Center on North Campus. After the performances there will be a reception with information booths, free food, and prizes.
On Tuesday, November 12, the Library will be hosting a panel discussion in honor of the Computer and Video Game Archive's 5th anniversary. The panel will feature U-M faculty who incorporate games into their teaching, including: Sheila Murphy, Screen Arts and Cultures; Sean Silver, English; and Erik Hildinger, Engineering/Technical Communications.
