The Library now has perpetual access to the electronic edition of Richard Taruskin's Oxford History of Western Music. Originally published in 5 volumes by Oxford University Press, this resource covers the history of the development of Western classical music.

Walter Everett, Professor of Music Theory, has recently published Los Beatles como músicos: De Revolver de la Antología (Buenos Aires: Eterna Cadencia, 2013), the Spanish translation of his The Beatles as Musicians: Revolver through the Anthology (Oxford University Press, 1999).
U-M students, faculty and staff can now access the digital Dictionary of American Regional English (DARE), which documents English language usage variation in words, phrases, and pronunciations across the U.S.
RIPM (Retrospective Index to Music Periodicals/Répertoire international de la presse musicale) is a resource providing access to music periodical literature from the 18th through early 20th centuries from a variety of countries. There have been two recent changes regarding RIPM.
