How do I log in to the library website?
There is a "Login" button at the upper right of library web pages. Simply click it:

Note: You do not need to log in before adding a favorite. If you have not logged in when you try to make an item a favorite or when you try to access your existing favorites, you will be prompted to do so.
How do I log out of the library website?
If you are logged in to the library website, you will see a personalized welcome message and a "(logout)" link in the upper right of all library web pages. Simply click the logout link to log out:

How do I add something to my favorites?
When you do a search in Search Tools for databases, journals, or articles, you will see a gray star to the left of the citation, such as this sample for a database search:

To make this database a favorite, simply cilck the gray star. The star will turn gold, indicating that you have saved this as a favorite:

How do I access my Favorite items?
When you are in Search Tools and ArticlesPlus, there is also a link above and to the right of the search results, to "Go to Search Tools Favorites:"
Additionally, when you are in Search Tools, you will see the "Favorites" menu items on the left. It looks like this:

You can access a list of your favorite articles, journals, databases, and searches saved from the previous version of Search Tools through this menu. The gold star will appear next to items that you have previously marked as a favorite any time that item appears in search results AND you are logged in to the library web site.
How do I remove something from my favorites?
Any time you see an item with the gold star, you can click the star to remove it from your list of favorites. If you make a mistake and accidentally un-favorite an item, or accidentally favorite an item, simply click the star a second time.
How do I save a new search?
At this time, you cannot save searches. If you had searches saved in the old version of Search Tools (as part of "My Search Tools"), those searches are still available to you in the "Searches" section of favorites. You can remove searches from this list, but cannot add new ones at this time. If you wish to save an ArticlesPlus or Search Tools search, simply bookmark the URL of the search results page.
Can I export my favorites to RefWorks, EndNote, or Zotero?
Exporting favorites is not currently possible.
How is this different from Mirlyn favorites?
Search Tools Favorites and Mirlyn Favorites are separate from each other. If you wish to see your Mirlyn favorites, click on My Library Account in the lower left corner of this page.
