7FAST

On July 2nd, 7FAST service became free for University of Michigan staff. Our expectation is that the cost of filling a modest number of additional requests will likely be offset by process improvements and streamlining.  During this pilot project, staff can use 7FAST for research, at no added cost and without requiring a proxy account.  Proxy accounts do remain available, and may be requested through Circulation. Undergraduate students working for faculty will still need a proxy account to obtain free service, and staff may wish to document that a faculty member is responsible for materials borrowed on the faculty’s behalf. Check our website for further details:
